In the of North Baja California there are 5 municipalities and its capital is Mexicali. In this blissful place the climate has mediterranean characteristics.

Related with its vegetation, in the high parts of the sierra we find the pinetree, oyamel, holmoak , and pine seed tree.

On the flatlands we find the teasel, bishop`s weed,``jojoba´´,``gobernadora´´, and cyrius.

This state has protected natural areas  like ``Islas Raza´´, ``Guadalupe´´, ``Valle de los Cirios´´, ``Constitucion de 1857´´, ``San Pedro Martir´´,``Alto Golfo de California´´ y ``Delta del Rio Colorado´´.The archeological sites you can visit are:``El Pudridero´´, ``La Rumorosa´´, ``El Vallecito´´, ``Piedras Gordas´´, ``Los Guerreros´´, ``La Tinoja-Cucapa´´, ``San Jose Tecate´´, ``Rancho Viejo´´, ``La Llave´´, ``Paso de San Matias´´, ``El Calabozo´´, ``Guadalupe Canyon´´, ``San Fernando Velicata´´, ``Las Pintas´´, ``Mesa de San Carlos´´, ``La Botana´´, ``El Cartabon´´, ``Monterideo´´, ``Campomonte´´, ``Los Paredones´´, ``Mesa del Carmen´´,``Mision de Santa Gertrudis´´ y ``El Rosario´´.

There are indigenous groups like: ``Cucapa´´, ``Cochimi´´, ``Kiliwa´´, ``Pa-ipai´´ y  ``Kumai´´ .Craftsmanships in Baja California are made of snail conchas like bracelets, necklaces, etc.

In Mexicali people celebrate the ``Sun Parties´´ in October.

Related to the Gastronomy in Baja California we can find fish tacos de Ensenada which are prepared with a traditional Corn Tortilla and some mexican sauce. You can also taste the sweet bread. And of  course you can`t avoid tasting its traditional roasted meat, shark tacos, shrimps and the popular shrimps cocktails and sea food. Its main sightseeing are:
